Application Editor does not work in IE11

Issue/Introduction

Issue/Problem/Symptoms: 

Application Editor "select" tool does not work in 11.4 SP1 on IE11. You can not use it at all.

 

Environment:  

WCC 11.4 SP1 (any OS)

Internet Explorer 11

 

Cause: 

This actually a known bug that was found and fixed during development on 11.4 SP2.

 

Resolution/Workaround:

To resolve the problem, you will need to upgrade to any later version of WCC. The problem was officially fixed in 11.4 SP2.

As a workaround, you can enable "Compatibility Mode" on IE11 and the "select" tool will work as expected again. You can also use a different supported browser such as Firefox or Chrome.
