Issue/Introduction

Post adding a NSX-T Global Manager as a Datasource in VMware Aria Operations for Networks, the Data Collection does not work.

While navigating to the Settings > Accounts and Data Sources tab, you will see the error "Invalid Credentials" under the concerned NSX-T Global Manager you added :

VMware Aria Operations for Networks 6.14

Cause

This is a known product limitation in version 6.14. VMware Aria Operations for Networks does not support NSX-T Federation Global Managers (GMs) as data sources.
All NSX-T Federation-related data must be retrieved from the associated Local Managers (LMs), not from the Global Managers.

Resolution

To ensure successful data collection, configure the NSX-T Local Manager as the data source instead of the Global Manager.
