Migration to VCF Operations for Logs - License in Evaluation Mode

Issue/Introduction

When logging in to VCF Operations for Logs 9.0, the following warning/banner is displayed on top of the user interface:

You are in evaluation mode, which expires on <date>.

 

Environment

VCF Operations 9.0
VCF Operations for Logs 9.0 

Cause

VCF Operations for Logs must be integrated with a vCenter 9 instance that is licensed with a VMware vSphere Foundation version 9 license, or a VMware Cloud Foundation version 9 license.

Older VCF and VVF version 8 licenses will not work.

Resolution

Please ensure that you configure at least one vCenter on version 9 as a log source as per Configuring Log Sources to allow VCF Operations for Logs to be successfully licensed
