Problem: The Harvest hgetusg commandline to obtain current client login information is not intuitive nor is it sortable, the report is very hard to read.
Environment: Windows x86 or x64
Solution: The Harvest support team has created a windows utility called HLoginMon.exe that provides a real time display in matrix format of all clients that are logged into the broker. This utility is provided as freeware and as is, there may be future updates to this utility as deemed necessary. This utility has incorporated the Harvest hdbgctrl commandline via an interface setup dialog that allows the Harvest administrator to invoke server side logging on either of the following scenarios:
Other Features: This utility also provides the capability of creating a "SnapShot" of the matrix and export the snapshot as a Excel .csv file. It provides the option to create a running history log of the application and the client log in/out activity. The utility constantly monitors the Broker connectivity and will display a flashing red error record in the matrix display if it detects a Broker connectivity problem.
HLoginMon is a utility designed for the Harvest administrator and requires the administrator credentials to connect to the Broker and query for report data. Please refer to the HLoginMonUserGuide.pdf file for more details of this free application that is attached to this knowledge document. The utility is provided via a self extracting install executable and you can uninstall the utility via the normal windows add/remove applet in the control panel.
