Agent Installation Unsuccessful in Windows using Autosys installer

Issue/Introduction

When installing agent using Autosys install.exe, the install fails with this error:

 Custom Action:            com.ca.wla.ae.installer.customaction.AEComposePostInstallMessage
                          Status: ERROR
                          Additional Notes: ERROR -     class com.ca.wla.ae.installer.customaction.AEComposePostInstallMessage NonfatalInstallException Some of the actions completed with exceptions.

 

Environment

Workload Automation AE 12.0 or above

Cause

The Administrator permission is needed when installing the Agent.

Resolution

When running install.exe, make sure to right click and run as administrator.  Select appropriate component (screenshot).
