Issue/Introduction

Summary:

There are sometimes when, although the iTechnology iGateway service and the itechpoz service are both running, you are now unable to access or log in to EEM. 

There have been instances when the dsa/CA Directory and iGateway become disassociated - perhaps an OS patch was applied and there was a hiccup. That is certainly not the only reason, but there could be a number of reasons for the services to become disassociated.

To make sure this doesn't happen, a service dependency can be created.

 

Instructions:  

 

To set a Windows service dependency:

  1. Open an elevated command prompt (run as Administrator)
  2. Type sc config iGateway depend=DXserver_itechpoz
