VxRail alarm appears in vCenter Server

Issue/Introduction

• An alarm appears in the vCenter UI with the following format:
  
  VXRxxxxxx ALARM Non-compliant components detected

  Example:
  
VXR008006 ALARM Non-compliant components detected

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 8.x

Cause

Alarms starting with VXR are triggered by VxRail, which needs VxRail support for troubleshooting.

Resolution

The VXR alarms are outside the scope of vCenter and need to be investigated by the VxRail support team. Please contact VxRail Support for further analysis and resolution.

Additional Information

Non-compliant components can be viewed by creating a compliance report.
vCenter > vSAN Cluster> Configure> VxRail > Compliance > Create New Report/View the report
