Issue/Introduction

You worked with the vSAN Quickstart in the vSphere Client and observed the Warning "All required hosts are in maintenance mode."
(Cluster --> Configure --> Configuration --> Quickstart)

You proceeded with the attempt to put Host(s) in Maintenance Mode (which were showing as not being in Maintenance Mode in the vSphere Client) 
but receiving the error: "General vSAN error. vSAN resource check has failed on host .... "

In the vSphere Client you observe the related Host is not in Maintenance Mode while most of the other vSAN Hosts are in Maintenance Mode:

Cause

Inconsistency within the vSphere Client in relation to Quickstart feature. 

Resolution

1.) Put all Hosts out of Maintenance Mode by using the vSphere Client

2.) Navigate to Quickstart Feature ( Cluster --> Configure --> Configuration --> Quickstart ) and hit "Re-Validate"

3.) You observe that Quickstart is now showing all green checkmarks and the message "All required hosts are in maintenance mode." is gone
