Alarm Description:

• Purpose: To inform users that one license is about to expire.
• Impact: One license is about to expire, the features licensed by this license are going to be impacted.
• Cause: One license is about to expire.

Environment

VMware NSX 9.1 or higher

Resolution

The license is scheduled to expire within several days. Plan to assign a valid license to [vCenter] or [NSX from License Hub]. Once completed, log in to the NSX UI, navigate to System > Licenses, and click REFRESH to synchronize the latest licenses.

Additional Information

Prior to NSX 9.1, the user can add/delete the DLF license keys in NSX UI/API.

Starting from 9.1, NSX does not support the DLF license keys any more and NSX will retrieve the licenses from the registered VCs and ANS license Hub. The user can not create/delete licenses from NSX (UI and API).
