Issue/Introduction

Issue:

- Autoping from WAAE manager fails and triggers the following error in System Agent's receiver.log file:

TCP/IP Controller Plugin.Receiver pool thread <Regular:1>.CybReceiverSession.accept[:315] - Message has been rejected internally: Receiver is blocked due to resource shortage: 

Environment:

- CA Workload Automation System Agent 11.3 SPx

- CA Workload Automation AE 11.3.x

Cause:

The CA WA System Agent, installed with CA WAAE installation media,  is by default set up to monitor the amount of available disk space and send notifications when the space falls below different (configurable) thresholds. 

"Receiver is blocked due to resource shortage" error occurs when the disk space is low on the file system where the agent is installed (e.g: /opt for Linux)

 

Resolution:

- Check the file system space usage where the System Agent is installed and either free up space from or add more space to the file system.

- Start the System Agent.
