Does Easytrieve for Linux support the DBCS of SJIS(Shift JIS)?

Resolution

DBCS of SJIS(Shift JIS) may work in rare cases under certain conditions used by other Easytrieve users. However, we are limited in covering all use cases completely, and since SJIS (DBCS) is not supported (as stated in the product documentation), we cannot provide support for this issue unless it can be reproduced in a standard environment.

We recommend that you conduct a POC in your company to see if the Linux and Unix version of Easytrieve is suitable for your specific use case.

If you implement our solution, please understand that we will no longer support SJIS (DBCS) on the LUW platform in the future.
