Export of Dataview fails with: 1-IDSTDVWE02E - Dataview not found 1-IDSTEXPD02W - EXPORT failed

Issue/Introduction

Problem:

Using the Source Transport Utility (IDUTSTRN) to export a modeled sequential dataview fails with the following error:

1- IDSTDVWE02E - Dataview not found

1- IDSTEXPD02W - EXPORT failed

 

Environment:

 

z/OS

 

Cause:

 

Source Transport, IDUTSTRN, can only be used to transport sequential file dataviews that are no modeled in Datadictionary. The definitions for Datacom dataviews (and for modeled sequential file dataviews) can be moved with Datadictionary     

utility DDBTGLM.      

 

Resolution:    

 

The definitions for Datacom dataviews (and for modeled sequential file dataviews) can be moved with Datadictionary     

utility DDBTGLM.
