TDM Portal publish does not run in Batch Mode

Issue/Introduction

While running a TDM Portal publish job, we experienced some unexpected behavior. Working with our DB2 DBA, we found out the publish job is not being processed in batch mode, even though we have it configured to publish in batches of 1,000 records.

Environment

TDM Portal 4.11

Cause

The batch processing isn't working because of the use of "Continue" on duplicate, shown below.

When "On Duplicate in Data Target" is set for 'Continue', we disable batch mode.

Resolution

To resolve the issue:

1. Change the "On Duplicate in Data Target" to not continue (Exit).
2. Upgrade to TDM Portal 4.11.2029.0 or greater. In TDM Portal 4.11.2029.0 the code has been modified to allow the use of Continue on duplicates.

Additional Information

NOTE: In the TDM Publish job log, the publish progress will always be printed after 10,000 rows are inserted, regardless of the batch size settings.
