VTICS Connectivity Alarms triggered without MPS enabled

Issue/Introduction

VTICS (VMware Threat Intelligence Cloud Services) connectivity alarms are raised even when no relevant features requiring internet access, such as MPS enabled.

Environment

SSP 5.0

Resolution

Workaround (Until Fix Is Released):

The alarm can be manually disabled via SSP UI.

 

Steps :

• Login to SSP UI
• Click on "VIEW ALL ALARMS"
• Go to "Alarm Definitions" Tab
• Disable "Threat Intelligence Services" Alarm

 

 

 

Note : If MPS is enabled , the alarm should be activated again.
