"Cannot invoke "java.util.Map.size()" because "m2" is null" appears when a chart is saved

Issue/Introduction

When clicked <Save> button on Chart or Dashboard, an error "Cannot invoke "java.util.Map.size()" because "m2" is null" is displayed.

If something is changed and <Save> button is clicked, no error is displayed and the chart is saved successfully.

 

Cause

The error message appears if no changes are made in Chart or Dashboard and a user clicks <Save> button. 

Resolution

 

When editing a Dashboard or Chart, <Save> is only required if changes were made. If no changes are being made, simply click the <Back> button or close the tab.
This error has no impact on your Dashboards or Charts and can be ignored.

The UI will be updated in a future release to handle this event.
