Issue/Introduction

Getting the following error with a FTP node after upgrade from Spool 11.7 to 14.0:

ESF936  File  nnn on printer FTPNODE - FTP interface error for command FAPI_SCMD EBCDIC RC=34

Environment

Cause

There was no userid and password to connected to the FTP server. 

Resolution

Forcing the userid and password in a DESTID statement is one of the possible solutions:

DESTID QDEST=FTPNODE,                                               
       FADDRES1='FTPUSER=uuuuuuu,FTPPASS=pppppppp',       
       FADDRES2='FILENAME=/uuuuu/&FNM.&UID.&DAY.&TIM.PDF'
