Some records are not synced from Jira to Rally via ConnectALL

Issue/Introduction

In Jira, we updated 100 issues  (Story to User Story, one way sync from Jira to Rally), but only 80 updates made it to Rally.  No failed records showing up in the ConnectALL UI.

The logs say that it picked up 100 issues but the following issue keys did not get updated in Rally.

Resolution

The records are failing due to error- 

Caused by: [java.lang.Exception - Rate limiting exceeded for the application

When the record fails with Rate Limit error it will be retried in next poll.

Note : When the record is retried in next poll for reprocessing and if the cooling period is not crossed, we might still throw the error in the log and mark it for retry and in such case you would not see the failure in the activity monitor.
