Uploading 4096 format cert in VLR triggers error.

Issue/Introduction

After upgrade to 9.0.3 . User tried to  change SSL cert at the VAMI level. Created 4096-bit long csr file and self signed. 

Uploading cert in VAMi failed with error:  "No CSR/PK generated before this call."

Environment

VMware Live Recovery 9.0.3

Cause

  • VLR 9.0.3 VAMI does not support installing 4096-bit long key and certificate .
  • Usage of p12 format (and related api) was deprecated in 9.0.3 and removed from VAMI.

Create and use 2048 ssl cert as per article below:
