Issue/Introduction

Policy configured to disable "Allow Decryption" on the PGP client but the "Decrypt" button remains visible in the PGP Desktop interface

Cause

N/A

Resolution

It is working as designed.  The policy is worded exactly as it works. It just disallows Decryption, it doesn't make the button go away or grayed out .

 

If you go to PGP client and click on "Decrypt" It will fail with the below error which is expected result.
