How to reconfigure DX O2 Log Collector service to use different ports than default tcp 6514 and udp 5140?

Environment

DX O2 

Resolution

1. cd <LOGCOLLECTOR-HOME>/logstash/conf

2. vi logcollector.conf

Example:

3.Locate the respective port sections, UDP or TCP  and update the port information as required:

4. restart logcollector service:

systemctl restart brcm_logcollector.service

5. Verification

a) Check new port(s) is in use using:

netstat -tulpn

b) verify new ports in the log :

tail -f logstash-plain.log
