Issue/Introduction
When logging to VMware Compatibility guide, you don’t see new compatibility statements for VMware Live Site Recovery (VLSR) for SRA and VMware Live Site Recovery (VLSR) for vVols
To simplify the process for getting Storage Replication Adapters (SRAs) officially supported, we are phasing out the VMware Live Site Recovery (VMware Site Recovery Manager) certification program for partners. This change will allow partners more flexibility in delivering SRAs to customers while reducing administrative overhead.
Effective 20th of August 2025, Broadcom will no longer certify Storage Replication Adapters (SRAs) and VASA Providers for VMware Live Site Recovery(VLSR) and VMware Site Recovery Manager(SRM) support.
While certification ends, storage array-based replication remains supported through VMware Live Site Recovery and VMware Site Recovery Manager. Partners will continue to develop and distribute SRAs independently and list them on their own websites.
Customers seeking Partner-released SRAs after 20th of August 2025, should contact the respective partner directly. Previously certified SRAs will remain listed in the Broadcom Compatibility Guide until the associated version of VLSR/SRM reaches its end of support.
