Issue/Introduction

Intellisig scripts are not in the latest version

Example :
Version for CA Client Automation Patches intellisigs script is 1.0

 

But latest version for this script is 1.3 :

 

Default Software Contents Download Job is successfully executed by Engine :

Environment

Client Automation 14.5 CU6 or CU7

Cause

Problem occurs in 14.5 CU6 or CU7 only.
The file CACICMPS.jar delivered in CU6 and CU7 contains a modification causing a problem during download of intellisig scripts.

Resolution

Open a case at Broadcom Technical Support and request the fix T55V445

This fix delivers the file CACICMPS.jar :

Name    : CACICMPS.jar
Size    : 133 065 bytes
Date    : 11 July 2025


Method to install the fix :

  1. Rename the file <install_path>\CA\SC\CIC\lib\CACICMPS.jar as <install_path>\CA\SC\CIC\lib\CACICMPS.jar.old

  2. Copy the file CACICMPS.jar from fix T55V445 into <install_path>\CA\SC\CIC\lib

  3. Execute following SQL Queries on mdb database :

    use mdb

    update ca_acme_checkpoint
    set last_message_number=0
    where convert(uniqueidentifier,message_type_uuid) in ('e2f4201d-24fa-454d-92e7-ff244ac266b6','c1a8f791-5d5e-4625-ae34-96453cf1089b')




  4. Execute CIC via "Default Software Contents Download" Job in Engine or manually in a cmd : 

    cd /D <install_path>\CA\SC\CIC\bin
    run.bat
