Unable to save changes in cost drivers panel in Aria operations UI getting Error 'Saved failed'

Issue/Introduction

You are trying to modify the cost value associated with an ESXi hardware in Aria Operations UI -> Cost Drivers module-> Server Hardware Traditional. However, every time you try to save the change you get an error message "Save failed"

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Cause

This issue is due to struts limitation of data being sent as payload. Struts framework has reduced the payload size to a much smaller value. Hence the save isn't working.

Resolution

Please follow the immediate workaround or Permanent solution mentioned in the Resolution section of below KB article

Unable to save cost drivers, "Server is busy. Please try again later. If issue still persists, contact the system administrator." is seen when attempted

This issue is permanently fixed in VCF Operations 9.0.0
