Renewal did not extend the expiration of a tenant. Instead, the new entitlement asks for a new environment to create a new tenant.
During the renewal process the entitlements could have been misconfiguration so that a new tenant would be created.
Contact the sales team that helped with the renewal to resolve the issue.
Support can assist by opening a support ticket this process can take more time. Please provide the old serial numbers and the new Serial number that replaces it.
