Issue/Introduction
Unable to remove an unused storage policy from VMware Cloud Director(VCD) UI listed under Provider VDC.
This storage policy was used by VCDA(VMware Cloud Director Availability) as a destination for virtual machine replications and the content was successfully migrated to new storage policy.
This issue occurs when the storage policy is in use by any objects(For ex: vApps/vApp templates/VM, etc.) or there are stale references in the Cloud Director database for any objects pointing to this storage policy.
If the UI method(s) does not work, database modifications may be required to remove/update any objects that is leveraging the storage policy. To resolve this issue, please open a Support Request with Broadcom Technical Support and note this Article ID (404347) in the problem description.
