This Article describes the steps to install Outlook Email Submission Add-in as an Individual In order to verify the functionality of the add-in without having to wait for propagation to complete.

Resolution

Follow these steps to install the updated Email Submission Outlook add-in for Office 365 for an individual user. You can use this procedure to verify the functionality of the add-in without having to wait for propagation to complete.

1. To open the Add-ins popup, navigate to https://aka.ms/olksideload.

2. From the My add-ins page, select + Add a custom add-in.

3. Save a copy of the Manifest .xml file to your device. You can access the Manifest .xml file using this link:   https://outlookaddin.submissions.emailsecurity.symantec.com/manifest.xml

4. Select Add from File.... The Choose File to Upload dialog appears.

5. Click through the prompts until you are returned to the My add-ins page. Broadcom Email Submission should now appear in the Custom Add-ins list. The add-in has been successfully installed using the Manifest and is ready for use.

NOTE : A new add-in installation, or changes to an existing add-in installation, may take a few hours before they become visible in Outlook. Changes may not appear in Outlook Windows, Web or Mac at the same time.
