Modifying the "Type here to describe your issue" text in Service Point search field

Issue/Introduction

How to change the out-of-the-box text of the search field in Service Point.

Environment

Service Point 17.x

Resolution

Note: Take a backup of the .JSON file before any changes

1. Edit the .JSON file from the installation language:

English: xFlow\APPS\Services\incidentmicroservice-17.0.479\public\assets\i18n\en_US.json

Spanish: xFlow\APPS\Services\incidentmicroservice-17.0.479\public\assets\i18n\es_ES.json

2. Search for  "searchDefaultText"

3. Modify the text set to "searchDefaultText"

5. Go to Service Point | Remove cache | Reload Homepage
