Issue/Introduction

vCenter and all other virtual machines were operating on the NFS datastore. NFS storage/datastore marked as inaccessible, and connectivity to the mount point lost.

Environment

VMware vSphere ESXi 7.0.x

VMware vSphere ESXi 8.0.x

Cause

Lost access to the NFS share mount point.

Resolution

Engagement of the NAS/storage vendor is required to diagnose the cause of the lost connectivity to the NFS mount point and assist in resolving the issue.
