Issue/Introduction

For all direct customers and channel customers with direct MCA accounts, Azure VM reservation order costs will appear under the "Other" category when viewed through Subscription Dimensions.

Resolution

There has been no loss of reporting on the CloudHealth side. The issue stemmed from a significant feature gap on Azure/Microsoft’s side for MCA accounts. Previously, when billing data was collected for MCA-type accounts, the associated subscriptions for Reservations, Savings Plans, and Marketplaces were not included in the bill.  Our internal team collaborated with the Microsoft Azure support team via a support ticket and successfully had this feature implemented on the Azure side. The update was rolled out around the first week of June.  As a result of this change, starting from May 2025 onwards, the subscriptions are now correctly mapped to the Reservations.
