Issue/Introduction

Symptom:

• Failed to create new service mesh

 

• HCX manager /common/logs/admin/web.log file shows below error
  YYYY-MM-DD HH-MM-SS UTC [https-jsse-nio-8443-exec-8, Ent: HybridityAdmin, , TxId: TxId: xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx] ERROR c.v.v.h.a.i.ComputeProfileRestController- Basic validation of compute profile failed. Errors: [{"code":"E_OPERATION_FAILED","message":"HCX service communication check failed for endpoint hcx-cloud (xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx). Communication to HCX service is broken for more than grace time."}].

 

• HCX manager /applianceSummary.txt file show license checking not good(last communication with https://connect.hcx.vmware.com is XXX day ago)

Cause

HCX manager can not reach https://connect.hcx.vmware.com to do license checking

Resolution

Please fix internet connection issue to ensure HCX manager reach below 2 websites 

 https://connect.hcx.vmware.com.
 https://hybridity-depot.vmware.com.
