Issue/Introduction

This article provide information about the traceflow functionality with service interface on the T1 connected to overlay segment.

Topology:

VM --- Segment_Overlay ---(Service Interface)--T1-SR --- T0-DR --- T0-SR --- External-Server

When running NSX Traceflow from the UI, it fails and stops immediately at Physical Hop Count 0 ("Injected").

Resolution

Currently, Traceflow has limitation when an overlay segment uses a service interface on the T1 gateway to connect to an external network
