Issue/Introduction

The Infrastructure Manager application keeps crashing constantly. I couldn't see any event logs in the event viewer for this crash.

Environment

  • DX UIM 23.4 CU3

Cause

  • DX UIM and IM version mismatch

Resolution

  1. From the http://<primary_hub_hostname>/uimhome page, download the appropriate version of the Infrastructure Manager (NimBUS Manager.exe) for the DX UIM version and CU you currently have installed.

  2. Rt-click to "Run as administrator" to upgrade/reinstall it.

  3. Check the IM and/or Windows events again to ensure there are no crashes.
