Issue/Introduction

We are rolling out the new Web Add-in for Outlook on macOS endpoints and we need the Refresh token and the Bearer token

Environment

DLP 16.x

Resolution

Tokens are not needed for Outlook monitoring through the Web Add-in because:

  • The Add-in is hosted in Outlook
  • The Add-in runs in the current user's context
  • The Add-in does not make any explicit REST API calls
