Route advertisement is removed from T1 gateway after editing edge gateway from VMware Cloud Director

Issue/Introduction

1. Customized route advertisement configured on T1 gateway directly from NSX-T manager.
2. The route advertisement is removed after editing edge gateway from VMware Cloud Director (VCD). 
3. This can also happen by re-saving edge gateway configuration from VCD without any actual change. 

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.x
VMware NSX 4.x

Cause

When NSX-T is integrated with VCD, VCD takes over the management of network resources and services of tenants. All configurations and modifications related to tenant networking such as creating networks, edge gateways, firewall rules, NAT rules need to be performed from VCD. Any change made directly to NSX-T objects that are managed by VCD could introduce conflicts between VCD and NSX-T and could be overwritten by VCD leading to unexpected behavior and network instability. 

Resolution

Modification of NSX-T objects that are managed by VCD needs to be done from VCD instead of NSX-T manager.
