Issue/Introduction

1. You created Report Templates as an AD user.

2. You schedule the reports to be emailed on a certain day. However, the reports are sent on different schedules, including the one you scheduled.

Environment

Aria Operations 8.x

Cause

All users created in VMware Aria Operations can add and edit report schedules, including the Report Templates created by other users. However, users do not have visibility into what report schedules other users have configured. This can potentially result in the same Report Template having different schedules configured, causing seemingly duplicate reports to be sent to an email or group.

Resolution

1. Verify and confirm the users who have configured the schedules for the report templates.

2. The schedules that are not required have to be deleted by logging in as the user who configured them.
