CAU Package error on AWI : Missing Pack metadata variable and Pack is not yet registered in registry

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to install packages using AWI's "Install From File" feature, the following error is seen:

"Missing Pack metadata variable and Pack is not yet registered in registry"

Environment

AE V 24.4.x and AWI V 24.4.x

Cause

Resolution

This error "Missing Pack metadata variable and Pack is not yet registered in registry" has been observed when using a NON compatible version of JAVA

We always recommend to use a compatible version of JAVA with respect to the AE and AWI
