Issue/Introduction

A custom resource action has been created that will pull data directly from vSphere via API so the VM can be resized.  There is a requirement for the VM to have HOT-ADD enabled in vSphere so the changes to CPU count and RAM take effect immediately.  User accounts with Service Broker Admin role assigned will be able to run the action successfully (the values in the form will load), however, when the account is only assigned to the Service Broker User role, the form will not load the values.

Environment

Aria Automation 8.18.1

Cause

One of the fields in the custom form has a property binding of "direct"

Resolution

Set the binding to "in_request" and select the appropriate value from the Resource properties list
