NetOps Topology Performance tab reports show incorrect data drop

Issue/Introduction

When going to the Network Observability DX NetOps Portal Topology (Inventory -> Topology) in the Portal web UI we select the Performance tab for devices to view their data.

When viewing the data at some times we see the data drop to zero when the data should be normal. The data is present in other Dashboards, Context Reports or On-Demand reports and doesn't show the same drop at the end of the chart.

This is what we see while the other reports for the same item and data don't show the drop outside the Topology UI.

Environment

All supported Network Observability DX NetOps Portal web server releases integrated with the new Topology features.

Cause

The poll cycle for the rendered time stamp hasn't taken place or completed yet, despite the chart trying to render it.

A known defect exists where the chart incorrectly auto-fills a drop to zero when no data point is available yet for the rendered time stamp.

Resolution

DE172810 will address this. It is currently scheduled to be included in the pending 24.3.12 release.

To confirm DE172810 is in 24.3.12 watch for it's inclusion in the 24.3.12 Resolved Issues list. Upgrade to that release or newer to implement the solution.
