Issue/Introduction

• Deploying  VMware Live Recovery 9.0.4 
  
  
• The appliance deployment completed, but Summary page is blank on restarting the appliance 
  
  
• The VMware Live Recovery VAMI Summary page throws error:  A specified parameter was not correct : spec.serviceName
  
  

Environment

VMware Live Recovery 9.0.4

Cause

When a reboot conflicts with a ReadCurrentConfig operation, this creates a "test" container to retrieve configuration spec. The reboot process stopped the docker service and va-configurator fails to remove this "test" container.  

Resolution

• This is a known issue.
• The present workaround is to find and delete the 'test' container id.  
  SSH to the VMware Live Recovery appliance
  
  docker ps -a
  docker rm -f <test-container-id>
  
  
  
• It may be necessary to repeat these steps if the 'test' container returns.
