Issue/Introduction

When trying to initialize CICS the following message is received:

DFHME0116 (MODULE DFHMEME) CICS symptom string for message DFHxxxxxx

Resolution

The message is very common when CICS is initialized and ENF is not up. ENF needs to be initialized prior to CICS otherwise CICS will not initialize properly.
