Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

Environment

vSphere Live Recovery (all versions)

Cause

vSphere Replication support only an n-1 version compatibility between sites. In this case, the source appliance was on version 8.5 while the target was on 8.7, which exceeds the supported version gap.

Resolution

1) Take a snapshot of the replication appliance.

2) Upgrade the vSphere Replication appliances so that both the source and target sites are running the same version. Refer to the document for steps to upgrade. Upgrade vSphere Replication Appliance

3) Reconnect the sites from Site Recovery Page.  Refer to the document for steps to reconnect Reconnect to a Remote Site
