Getting error "Failed to retrieve compatibility matrix for component ..." during Validate & Deploy in VCF Installer

Issue/Introduction

Following errors are shown in Validate & Deploy section when using VCF Installer:

Versions and Bundles:
Failed to retrieve compatibility matrix for component VMware Cloud Foundation Operations with version 9.0.0.0.24695812
Failed to retrieve compatibility matrix for component VMware vCenter with version 9.0.0.0.24755230

ESX Host Configuration:
Failed – Validate ESX Host version and build failed

Environment

VCF 9.0

Cause

VCF communicates with Broadcom VVS endpoints to download vLCM compatibility data bundle. Broadcom VVS endpoint - vvs.broadcom.com internally redirects requests to Google cloud storage service endpoint.

Resolution

Ensure network firewall/proxy rules unblock the communication with Google cloud storage service endpoint: https://storage.googleapis.com.
