Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 5.2.1.1

Cause

Active uplink counts/details inconsistent between SDDC DB and vCenter UI

Resolution

Update the Uplink order to ensure that it matches the configuration as per SDDC DB and vCenter UI

Steps to modify the Uplinks order:

  1. Navigate to the host: In the vSphere Client, select the ESXi host you want to configure.
  2. Access Networking: Go to Configure > Networking > Virtual switches.
  3. Select the virtual switch: Choose the virtual switch containing the port group you want to modify.
  4. Edit the switch: Click Edit settings.
  5. Teaming and Failover: Go to the Teaming and Failover tab.
  6. Unused Adapters: Under Unused Adapters, you'll see a list of physical network adapters. Use the arrow buttons to move adapters between active/standby as needed.
  7. Save: Click OK to save the changes
