SVM deployment fails with Error "Deployment Failed" in Vcenter Tasks

Issue/Introduction

 # On ESXi-host , you may see tasks similar to -

" The object 'vm.virtualMachine:vm-1x1x1x' has already been deleted or has not been to completely created."

# Below alarm will be observed on NSX  -

Transmission of data from ESX host <host-id> to messaging broker<ip:9092> failed. 

#Vcenter Tasks may show the below message :

Environment

SSP 5.0 

Cause

Invalid SSL Certificate on Esxi Host will likely cause this issue

 

You will see the below snippets in Vcenter EAM logs (var/log/vmware/eam/eam.log)

Resolution

Re-generating SSL certificate on ESXi host to solve this issue

On the esxi host, navigate to  /etc/vmware/ssl  and check the below data for certificate related information on the host. 

 # openssl x509 -in rui.crt -text -noout

# openssl x509 -noout -in /etc/vmware/ssl/rui.crt -enddate
