Channel filter does not work for .war and .ear files.

Issue/Introduction

You specified an exception to ignore files with the .war or .ear extension, so DLP should not scan those files; however, scanning is still being performed.

Cause

Those file types are essentially archive files, and DLP does not really look at the extension but rather at the file structure; therefore, it considers them as .zip files.

Resolution

Create a filter for .zip files. If possible, use a specific path to narrow down the scope, in case you do not want to exclude all .zip files from scanning.
