Alerts are not triggered for edge nodes

Issue/Introduction

1. You have integrated NSX Manager Management Packs(MP) in Aria Operations.

2. The out-of-box alert "Edge Node Settings Mismatch" was triggered on two edge nodes on the NSX manager side, but the alerts are not triggering in Aria Operations.

3. You check the integration and notice the integration of the NSX Manager MP is at the "Warning" status with the message "Unable to get connection to NSX Manager. Please validate credential and test connection."

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

 

Cause

Credentials being used for the integration have been modified.

Resolution

1. Make sure the user logged in owns the credentials configured for the MP. For more details, see Managing Orphaned and Unassigned Content.
2. Make sure the credentials are filled in by following the Credential section in the VMware Aria Operations 8.18 documentation: Configuring the NSX Adapter.
