UIM upgrade from 23.4 CU2 to DX UIM 23.4 CU4 but uimhome is not updated

Issue/Introduction

We had to workaround data_engine startup issues but once the data_engine was up after reinstall, we had to manually deploy all Primary hub packages. Therefore the uimhome page was not updated.

Environment

• DX UIM 23.4 CU2 to CU4

Cause

• data_engine /installer issue where DE stalled at 46%

Resolution

Here are the steps to rectify this issue with uimhome not getting updated due to our need to do a manual Primary Hub /UIM Server install:

1. On the Primary Hub, Rt-click and deactivate the wasp probe (save off the wasp.cfg)

2. Rt-click and delete the wasp probe from the Primary hub

3. Delete the wasp directory/folder and its contents from the Primary hub server (found under the <installPath>\Nimsoft\probes\service directory)

4. Deploy the latest appropriate version of the following packages for 23.4.4 in the following order to your Primary hub:

- wasp
- uimhome
- mps
- adminconsoleapp

5.  Activate the wasp probe on the Primary hub and wait for it to startup

Hit the /uimhome page on the Primary hub and check the displayed version which should now be 23.4.4..

6. Drag and drop the robot installers, e.g., robot_aix, robot_rhel, robot_rpm, etc., to update the Installers referenced on the uimhome page, e.g., these links will be updated.
