OSPF down alerts on ECMP DLR edge - NSX V

Issue/Introduction

We can notice OSPF flapping alarms for the NSX V Edges as below :

Environment

VMware NSX Data Center for vSphere

Cause

This issue could be caused by the ECMP edge VMs being on a single host and both going down when the host does or being migrated by vmotion at the same time.

Resolution

Login to the VC, navigate to the problematic cluster, ensure VM affinity rules are set and enabled.

In addition, set a manual override on the ECMP edge VMs.
