When adding a new Aria Operations instance to the vROps Aggregator adapter, we get ERROR when clicking on Validate connection button
More than one trusted certificate found in trust manager. Only one was expected. Remove earlier certificate from this instance of vR Ops to resolve this issue.
Environment
Aria Operations 8.18.3
vROps Aggregator Adapter v2.0
Cause
The Aria Operations which is being added has a self signed certificate which is already in the Trusted certificates on the aggregator Aria Operations.
Resolution
Upgrade the MP to VMware Cloud Foundation Management Pack for Aggregator from VMware Marketplace which is compatible with Aria Ops 8.18.3
Workaround:
Go to Administration -> Control Panel -> Trusted Certificates on the aggregation Aria Operations.
Match the certificate endpoint that matches with the certificate you see on the UI of the Aria Operations host that is being added under Integrations
Delete the certificate which was found in above step.
Now, when you click on validate connection it should presents you with a new cert to review and accept.. Click accept and save
