Issue/Introduction

VM deployments through Aria Automation were failing with an Infoblox-related error: Caused by ProxyError('Unable to connect to proxy'. OSError('Tunnel connection failed: 503 Service Unavailable')))"

Environment

Aria Automation 8.18.x

Cause

This issue can occur if the DNS hostname of the Infoblox server is changed and the corresponding configuration in the Aria Automation Infoblox integration is not updated. In such cases, Aria Automation may attempt to connect using outdated DNS information, leading to integration or deployment failures

Resolution

To resolve the issue, follow these steps:

  1. Take a snapshot of the Aria Automation appliance without virtual memory.

  2. Navigate to Infrastructure > Integrations > open the Infoblox integration in Aria Automation.

  3. Update the hostname and any other necessary fields to reflect the new Infoblox DNS configuration.

  4. Save the changes and verify that the integration is successful.

  5. Retry the VM deployment
